Services
Injury Diagnosis
Diagnosis of complex acute and chronic injuries through a comprehensive clinical assessment that includes detailed patient history, physical examination, and targeted diagnostic imaging such as MRI or other special investigations. Integration of biomechanical analysis and functional testing to identify underlying causes and contributing factors. This approach enables accurate diagnosis and informs personalised treatment plans to optimise recovery and prevent recurrence.
Exercise Prescription
Prescription of exercise as a tailored intervention for a wide range of injuries, medical conditions, and chronic musculoskeletal pain disorders, recognising its critical role in rehabilitation and long-term health management. Each exercise program is individualised based on a thorough assessment of the patient’s condition, functional limitations, and goals, ensuring exercises are safe, effective, and progressively challenging. This approach integrates evidence-based principles to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and motor control, which aids in pain reduction, restores function, and allows patients to return to the activities that they love.
Specialist Interventions
Providing specialist treatments tailored to a range of conditions, including ultrasound-guided corticosteroid injections to reduce inflammation and pain. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections harness the body’s own healing mechanisms by using concentrated platelets to promote tissue repair and regeneration in chronic tendon and soft tissue injuries as well as reducing pain in arthritic joints. Additionally, shockwave therapy is employed to treat painful conditions such as plantar fasciitis, tendinopathies, and calcific shoulder tendinopathy. Each treatment is carefully selected based on individual assessment to optimise recovery and return to activity.
